1 0CCNhub USER GROUP SEMINAR IN SINGAPORE 1

In our ongoing efforts to value add to our customers, CCN will be organizing a series of User Group Seminars for Singapore agents. The objective of these meetings is to provide updates on the latest developments in the air cargo industry. At the same time, we hope to gather feedback from our agents on CCN’s products and services and how it can be further enhanced to better serve the growing needs of the air cargo community.

CCN conducted the first User Group Seminar in SAAA Office on 25 November. The seminar provided a good opportunity for CCNhub subscribers to interact with one another to share their experiences on certain industry practices as well as highlight concerns for discussion. Some of the highlights at the seminar include updates on the latest Customs requirements and sharing of common issues faced by agents during Customs submission. The participants also requested for CCN to develop more new services and enhanced tracking capabilities.

CCN will continue to organize more user group seminars to constantly keep our customers updated on new e-initiatives and improve on our product and services. If you would like to attend CCN’s user group seminars, do send us an email at marketing@ccn.com.sg.

We hope that all CCN agents can continue to send us their feedback on CCNhub and other services. Please send your feedback to your local CCN office. We will be more than glad to hear from you.

1 6Emirates SkyCargo Implemented Full Computerized Neutral AWB Printing and FWB Submission 1

We are pleased to announce that Emirates SkyCargo has implemented full computerized Neutral AWB printing and Master Air Waybill Data (FWB) electronic submission in Jakarta effective from 1 January 2010.

On 22 December 2009, Emirates SkyCargo together with CCN and PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS), a leading ground handling agent in Indonesia, organized a seminar for all the major freight forwarders in Jakarta to announce their participation with CCN in Indonesia and presented the solution for Neutral AWB and FWB messaging.

‘With CCN’s expanding network, Emirates SkyCargo strongly believes that this new system will provide advantages for our partners as well as our internal team. By implementing this system, both the Emirates SkyCargo team and our cargo partners will be able to work more efficiently and deliver accurate data input. This platform also supports Emirates in taking advance steps towards e-freight initiatives.’ said Mr. Ery Zulma, Emirates SkyCargo Cargo Manager for Indonesia.

With PT JAS’ FWB service during cargo lodge-in, freight forwarders will experience convenience in NAWB creation process. Emirates SkyCargo encourages other freight forwarders to apply this system by submitting electronic FWB and while reducing the AWB fee.

For CCNhub agents, they are able to update the details of the AWB electronically, to ensure the accuracy of AWB detail and will experience faster AWB printing service in warehouse. In addition, CCNhub agents will get freight shipment updates automatically which will give them more shipment visibility.
