Software Analyst/ Senior Software Analyst

Come join us and get involved in providing web and application services to air cargo logistic players such as major airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, shippers and customs authorities.

We are seeking experienced and outstanding Software Analyst to collaborate with project teams in developing software solution, and ensuring compliance to software and architect standards.

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 4 – 6 years of hands-on experience in software development using .Net C#, Angular, NodeJS, SQL
• Proficient in software design and solution.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skill
• Highly independent and proactive

Added Advantages:
• Familiar with IT Architecture principles and framework
• Knowledge of Logistics Industry
• Experience in OO design pattern & development
• Knowledge in cloud implementation
• Agile development

Scope of work:
• Work with Business Analyst to review and understand business requirements
• Translate business requirements to software solutions including conceptual design, design pattern, and integration strategies
• Provide clarifications and coaching to technical leads to implement the software solutions
• Collaborate with development team to troubleshoot issues in application
• Take lead in application development when required
• Evaluate new technology required in the software solutions
• Demonstrate technology concept with proof of concept codes
• Identify and escalate conflicts relating to software governance for action
• Participate in the evaluation of technological direction
• Provide technology sharing/training on software technology

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

• Preferably to have at least 1 to 3 years of working experience in implementing, managing and perform disaster recovery in Microsoft Windows server 2008/2012/2016 and Windows AD architecture and any One (1) of the following:

a)  Microsoft SQL 2012/2014/2016

b)  VMware infrastructure

c)  Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013

• Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Candidate must be a team player and can work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge in cloud implementation and management will be an added advantage

The successful candidate will join a team of Systems Engineer primarily responsible for performing upgrades, capacity planning and management of the system and network infrastructure.

On top of the primary responsibility, he/she will be required to perform the following duties on a rotational basis

1. Daily operation task, e.g. backup, system maintenance, system performance monitoring, end user PC support.

2. Off office hours standby duty to attend to system alerts and to provide 2nd level support to our helpdesk and software developer when they encounter problems
